Resource Locations

Metal

Metal nodes are found in abundance throughout The Island. Some of the best locations to farm metal include the mountains in the north and the central cave system.

Wood

Wood can be harvested from trees using an axe or chainsaw. Trees are found all over The Island, but the dense forests in the south and east are particularly rich in wood resources.

Stone

Stone can be quarried from rocks using a pickaxe. Rocks are found in abundance all over The Island, but the best locations to farm stone are the quarries in the north and the cliffs along the coast.

Other Resources

In addition to the basic resources listed above, The Island also contains a variety of other resources, including crystal, obsidian, amber, and oil. These resources are used to craft various items and structures, so be sure to explore the map thoroughly to find them all.

Tips for Gathering Resources

Here are a few tips to help you gather resources more efficiently on The Island:

  • Use the appropriate tools. Axes are best for harvesting wood, pickaxes are best for quarrying stone, and metal picks are best for mining metal.
  • Look for resource nodes that are near each other. This will save you time and energy when gathering resources.
  • Use a tame dinosaur to help you gather resources. Some dinosaurs, such as the Ankylosaurus and the Doedicurus, can harvest resources much faster than humans.
